Stick 2 is a percussion duo that visits primary schools in the South Wales area. Through demonstration and practical involvement they give children an insight into all aspects of percussion. They teach in a workshop format that lasts for 40 minutes at each key stage. The workshops consist of fun and enjoyable pieces being performed on both tuned and un-tuned percussion instruments. There are lots of opportunities for the children to take part in the workshop allowing them to try instruments ranging from xylophone and marimba to snare drum, cymbals, shakers and scrapers.
